Is there any other small car won't make my husband look like a raging homosexual? He is hell bent on getting one, surely there is an alternative?

Mod note: user banned. Homophobic comments are not welcome here.

As long as he gets a proper Cooper S or a John Cooper Works you'll be fine.

Ok lads thanks for replies, men driving minis seem to be of the norm here. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

The good news is his boyfriend won't want to ride ya, as he's gay. You know that whole gay thing that cars cause.

Hiro Nakamura drove a Nissan Versa

He also traveled through and froze time. And carried a katana, and impaled people with it.

The car doesn't make the man.

If you had read the recent Irish Times series "how to be a man" you'd have seen that it's all about €200 face creams and MINIs and tampons in the men's toilets these days. Not saying all the articles had some agenda to push like...

My cousin works in the motor trade. I would describe him as a manly man. When the Fiat 500 was re-launched a few years ago, he dragged himself out of his sick bed (genuine flu) to test drive one that came into the garage.

Apparently cars can do funny things to a person.

OP, I would be far more concerned people would think he's an estate agent :D

Opened this thread expecting something about a cross dressing guy !!!

Is he a hairdresser or in real estate by any chance?

I owned a blue mini for about a year. Loved every minute of it.

    Take a look at Miniclub.ie

Other male road users are going to be very embarrassed when they look and see a hot and horny 20 something blonde isn't behind the wheel

Perhaps he has a concern with driving a larger vehicle through old
harshly-inclined tunnels, that he may have trouble getting it up.
Perhaps the old tunnel needs to get more of a grip and get some barriers and better lighting to offer support and confidence that he'll get there with a little assistance or maybe he needs to try an alternative passage for a change.

Look on the positives, he'll hardly be out pulling birds in his new mini

    Simple as that.

What year are we talking here?
There's nothing gay about the original classic minis.
No power steering or any of the other pansy creature comforts found in modern cars.
