Windows 7 Taskbar shortcuts

Had a quick search online for this couldn't find out if it can be done.

Is there a way to move the taskbar in windows 7 with a keyboard shortcut?

A few games I have, I have them set to launch in windowed mode with a custom resolution 1903x1004 the size of the screen on a 1080 monitor minus the space of the taskbar of course. The problem is when the games launch they are not set to fill the space they should fit into and are launched off screen. I can move the window to the space but just wondering if there is a faster way to get the window to fit the space. I discovered that moving the taskbar to side or top resets the window to fill the space but if there is a quicker way to move the taskbar without touching the mouse it would be even handier.

Holding the Windows key and pressing Up should maximise the active window to the full size of the current display, so you could try that.

Nah just goes to full screen with the bottom of the screen hidden behind the taskbar. Windows+down switches it back to the way it was, off the screen.

    Weird.

You could try Alt + Space, that should also be a shortcut for maximising the window size, but I'd guess this will show the same behaviour.

Have you tried Windows+Left/Right to move the initial off-screen window into view? If so, does it come into view at the right size?

Had a quick look around, WinSize2 seems to do what you want. Here's an article on it.

I'd have preferred to find a Microsoft solution to it, but this seems to be one of those Microsoft decisions that perhaps made sense at the time, but is ridiculous now.

Windows Left/Right that's a handy one to know will get use out of that! Sadly it just goes back to the position it was in off screen again when it goes back to the default resolution.

Dragging the taskbar to the top and back to the bottom seems to be the only thing that works without resizing the window strangely enough when the game is launched with the taskbar on the top of the screen it launches on screen in the space minus the taskbar. Just have to find a bracket for the wall mounted screen to turn the screen upside down and turn the display settings 180° :pac::pac:

Thanks for the link will have a look at it. There used to be a shortcut for moving the taskbar right? Vista or going back to 98 or xp.
