    Hi

Was asking about this in the Virgin Media page but the thought I may get more clearance from here

I am with Virgin and also have a Horizon TV box. I don t use the Horizon box for modem but rely on the wifi coming from the virgin media hub:

Use Home plugs connected to Android box downstairs and only getting speeds of 50 and I am on their 240. I was looking if there is anyway of increasing this? Also if possible a way of turning on the wifi on the horizon box but still also have the media hub?

I have the old Thomson router, below, from UPC but the Virgin Media hub is connected upstairs.

Not sure if I can utilise this in any way? Sister has Sky in the UK but has 2 different connections and depending on where you are in the house picks up the better signal although she has a bigger house.

    What are my options?

    Cheers
