universal 550 gearbox whine.

I recently bought a universal 550. I changed the gearbox oil with super universal 15w30. The gearbox has a whine in 3rd and 4th gear which is more noticeable when I'm pulling a trailer. I'm wondering is there a more viscous oil that I could put in to improve the whine as the 15w30 seems a bit light? Also any ideas what…

I recently bought a universal 550. I changed the gearbox oil with super universal 15w30. The gearbox has a whine in 3rd and 4th gear which is more noticeable when I'm pulling a trailer.
