Server Ram in Desktop motherboard

    I managed to get my hands on some HP 32GB 2Rx4 PC4-2133P-R Kit memory.

    and I'm wondering would this work in a Intel DD4 based motherboard or would I require a special motherboard that would support this kind of ram, Not sure it's ECC.

    Yeah, you're not going to find a non server mobo that can take 32gig quad rank registered ECC ram.

    Edit:CPU limitation too. They are not worth anything outside of the server market.
