E-flow toll penalty on rental

    Hi all
I used the M50 toll on the way to the airport two days ago and forgot about the toll until now. It was a rental car and I am living abroad.
I just went on E-flow and paid for one toll journey, but I should owe a late penalty now aswell. There is no way to pay that though, without having received a letter from them. Does anyone know how that works when I am not in the country and it was a rental? Can I just forget about it now that I have paid the 3.10?

    Thanks

Ring efoow and they will sort it out for you. If a penalty notice issues to the hire company, expect a €50 or so admin fee as well as the penalty.

    Thanks
I just contacted E-Flow and they said they don't charge late penalties for rentals, but the rental company themselves may charge me (why, when they are not charged?).
Sure enough Budget rentals site says they charge 44 euros for payment 2 or more days late!
So on to contact them now I go.

    Thanks for the response

I'd just speak with eflow and pay it on behalf of the rental company regardless.

    What rental was it?

Hertz will charge you automatically, you should not pay the toll yourself.

That's what I was trying to tell him to do in my post. Eflow in my experience are one of the most accommodating organisations. If you can speak with them they will match payment and charge and no penalty will issue. If the hire co is charged €3 they will charge €35-50 to process the €3 toll fee.

They may slap on a "admin fee" for any work you make them do that was not in initial contract.
