Underfloor heating problems

    Hi,

Moved into a new build house about 6 months ago and starting to turn on the heat with the cold weather. Heating is UFH downstairs with radiators upstairs all operating off a air source heat pump outside. The hot water is working fine, but no heat even after several hours. All thermostats are set to 25 degrees. From looking at the manifold, it appears the pressure in the flow pipes is 0. This is not normal I assume. Would anyone be able to look at these pics and see if there is anything obviously wrong or could offer some advice.
    thanks

from the pics there's no flow in the UFH pipes, the valves do look open. 16w draw on the pump is very low, it looks like speed 2 is selected. try manually changing that.

I know you have hot water but could that be from an immersion. is the ASAP running? are the fans turning /compressor running.

Thanks for the reply. I changed the speed to 3 and it jumped to 42w draw immediately. Does that sound more realistic ?

Yes the ASHP is definitely heating the water, can hear fans spinning up from time to time.

If you have no flow in your underfloor heating manifold, you either have air in the system, low pressure in the heating circuit or there is something wrong mechanically with the setup.

Get your installer back to assess the system, its impossible to diagnose online.

Hi. I have underfloor heating system. The air to water system..just recently there about 2 weeks ago noticed that the heat pump was running a lot.. and my dining was cold. I was wondering why the dining room wasn't being heated. I did research on line and I believe it's thr 'Electrothermic actuator' that's the problem.. can they have faults for some reason I think it's not registering with the dining room stat. Can the Electrothermic actuator head blow or something happen to it for it to stop working? It gets warm to from the power of electricity going into it. None the rest are the same..I have it off now And dining room is on an open circuit at the moment to I find the problem and get it sorted
