Second diseqc switch not working

I have a quad and twin universal LNB. Quad has Astra 2, Twin has Astra 1. On two receivers I want to have both Astra 1 & 2 so I connected in a pair of 2 port diseqc switches. On receiver one all is well and it switches between Astra 1 & 2 with no issues. On receiver 2 I cannot get a signal on Astra 2 but works perfectly on Astra 1. Both switches are the same model and manufacturer (Amiko). Both receivers are configured with Astra 1 on port 1, Astra 2 on port two using Diseqc 1.0 with power 13/18v enabled on each respective LNB. Funny thing is when I turn off/on power on the Astra 2 LNB on receiver two Astra 2 pulls in perfect signal. Don't think the switch is at fault because I tried with another switch which I know works. Trouble begins when I try to run two :( .. any thoughts would be welcome.

Receiver 1 is an Amiko HD Mini SE
Receiver 2 is a Technomate (don't remember the model off the top of my head)

Have you tested the receivers on the opposite DiSEqC switch? If the fault transfers then the receiver is at fault

Port 1 on the switch is a simple default pass-through, port 2 upwards requires commands from the receiver to select. Is there a simple A B option under DiSEqC settings?

What are you describing here, exactly? You're turning the power off, or off & then on again, & it seems to temporarily solve the problem, or what?

@ The Crush - I've replaced the current diseqc switch on receiver 2 which is not working with another diseqc switch which works on both recievers when it is the only diseqc in operation. Yes there is an A/B option under the diseqc settings of the non working reciever.

@ Thurston? - If I go into the diseqc settings of the non working receiver and I power off/on the Astra 2 LNB it lights up and shows signal strength/quality, then if I go to Astra 1 it is also show very good signal/quality, if I then return to Astra 2 it show's signal but no quality again basically I looks like it is not switching over correctly.

Have you tested it with Option B

    Hi Folks,
Found out something interesting today. When I switch from Astra 1 to Astra 2 on a Horizontal frequency it show signal but no quality then when I switch to a channel using a Vertical frequency (e.g. BBC 1 NI) the signal level/quality light up and the channel can be viewed perfectly. Then when I switch back to the channel with Horizontal frequency (e.g. BBC 1 Lon) it now works perfectly. Would appreciate any thoughts/suggestions.

    Receiver: Technomate 3000D

The LNB or the cable run from the one thats going to the box thats acting weirdly.

There is option on an E2 box to turn on increased voltage. Turn it on.

Failing that try another port on the lnb itself. One might be about to blow.

Lastly check the switch and cables to see that they are not full of water.

Cheers STB .. good suggestions .. noticed the increased voltage option 14v/19v .. already tried another port to the LNB. Hope the LNB is not gonna blow it's brand new Quad Inverto :-(
