The Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 recently repealed S68 of the Solicitors (Amendment) Act 2004 in July and I'm curious if any other statutory provisions are in place to cover the provisions of S68 and fees for clients as I don't think there is.

The repeals haven't been enacted and the matters covered by the old s. 68 are broadly covered under s. 150.

Thanks for that Hullaballoo, I tought S5 was enacted in July, but I see it's other than S5 - I read it wrong :)

Edit: When S5 is enacted it would appear that the 2015 Act means it will no longer be illegal to charge a % based fee on awards or have I missed that point in the new legislation?
