Taxi price from Athenry to city?

    Anyone know of the rough price of a taxi from Athenry to Galway at about 7:15pm on a Friday night?

    And can anyone recommend any taxi companies that are good value

    Around €30 I think. Better off getting a local lad. There should be a couple heading into work around that time.

    The 19:35 train might be better value, depending what part of Athenry you are coming from

    Buslink do a night bus at 8pm from the Arch carpark in Athenry to Galway on friday nights - €8 single, €10 return. Runs Friday, Sat, Bank-holiday Sundays.

    Got a number from a newsagent , local those trips around the town. 7euro
