So my husband forgot that yesterday was his sign on day.
Even tho we were in town with time to spare not 10 mins from the intreo office!!
Even tho I reminded him 3 times last week!

Im assuming he will go in today soonish.

How will this affect next weeks payment?

We really cant afford to be down money as we are barely getting by as it is, but Im assuming we will be down just the one day? or can they stop payment for the whole week?

They usually stop the payment until you come in and sign on. They will then reinstate the payment. The only problem with them stopping it is that it will take 3 days to come back into the postoffice. You won't loose money but you will have to wait a few days to get it. If you miss a couple of signing on days they can make you sign weekly or daily and they can also fine you.

His payment for this week would already have run to the post office so no problem with collecting his money but he needs to go in ASAP and sign so his payment for next week wont be affected.
