Can a small van be taxed on CO2?

Is is still the case that VAN tax is on CC if going privately?

Looking at a newer Caddy, and the CO2 would be less than the 333 commercial.

I'm able to avail of the commercial on the current Caddy, so that's no issue, just wondering if it can be taxed cheaper!

Nah, commercial rate is as cheap as you get, It will still be taxed on cc rate should you tax it privately.

Yep, as above its cc based if you go privately. If you want a car buy a car :)

To be fair 333 a year is not bad, go commercial!

And nearly 130 DOE every year as opposed to ~50 NCT every 2 years..

It's annoying that the DOE/CVRT is yearly and costs more than the NCT equivalent but if you're running a company then you exclude the vat and it's also an expense you can put against the company.
