What date are people letting out the ram so as to let lambing start from St Patricks day on?

Sorry for hijacking thread....I usually aim to have ewes lambing around St Paddy's day.

Let rams out with ewes today,if I want to switch them around to make sure they are working alright (and lessen the trouble if not) shouldn't I swop them around in 18 days time?

Did not have a chance to get them fertility tested this year so am going to swop them around when first breeding cycle is over.Put oiled raddle on rams, going to leave them alone now.

Probably 16 days is better as i've seen them come in heat again in 16 days.

Checked the rams yesterday evening, each had 3 or 4 ewes tipped, seems with the dry crisp weather ewes are in the mood:)
