Seats from 2012 Leon FR to a 2007 Altea FR

    Hi All,

    My seats in the Altea are a bit shredded and one of them is throwing on the airbag light and I found a set out of a Leon but there is 5 years in the difference.

    Will the front and back seats from the 12 Leon go into an 07 Altea? Are the airbag connections and all that the same? I'll get them done in a garage with all the software for the reset but before I make the move I just want to make sure the runners and all that are the same!

    Old being it's the shape previous to the latest shape, I think it might be a Mkll from 2006->
    It's been walloped in the photo so I don't know if the bags are out or anything bit the wings look similar to the Altea. I just want to do my homework before making the call tomorrow

    The Leon and Altea share a lot of components. They're on the same platform.
    I'd say there's a good chance they might fit. The seats in the Altea are much higher off the floor no?

    To be honest I've never sat in a Leon but from what I've seen on Ebay UK they look the same.
    You could be right though, the Leon sits lower or at least looks to.
    Could be an obstacle

    Might be easier to just get some off another Altea to be fair!

    Problem is I have the Altea FR which is very rare over here, I've only seen one other on irish plates. I'd like the bucket seats and they aren't in the Stylance/base model.
    The Leon FR was more popular in Ireland so that's my only option!!

    Also, a side note, trying to google 'Seat Altea Seat'......Google gets flustered!!!
