    Ok hope this is the right forum
    Have Virgin and have the Horizon box downstairs on main tv and have lead down from Attic and have the basic stations upstairs. I am looking for a recording box that can series link so that we can record stuff on this so no arguments over who gets to watch main tv
    Are there any recording boxes similar to the Horizon that can series link etc and record TV. We have android box but no option to record

    What basic channels do you have upstairs, saorview or the analogue cable channels?

    If they're the analogue channels then an old VCR or VCR /HDD combi will be your option but no series link etc.

    I have the analogue channels via Virgin.
    I have a DVD recorder I could use to record anything on that and was looking around for others but can't see any option for something similar to the horizon box. May just get another android box for upstairs
