    What type of stock have you already? Reason I ask is I have the thumbhole varmint and was looking at maybe getting a synthetic stock but noting available

    I have the standard wooden American style stock. Same style as the synthetic but wood.

    No worries, to be honest I'm not looking to trade/swap just looking to buy an additional stock for it. Thanks anyway

    May not be of use to you but I was in Dave Mulvehill's in Ballymahon a while back and I asked about a thumbhole stock fpr my cz455 varmint. He was prepared to take the american style stock from my CZ 455 varmint and give me a thumhole stock from a CZ 455 on the shelf. It looked new or as good as to me.
    He wanted €150 plus my stock because my stock had a good few scratches.
    As I said may not be useful information but will give you an alternative idea.

    Good idea, I'll have a chat with Dave during the week, was only out with him on Thursday. Got my last couple of rifles off him.
