Local groups have been working very hard lately to improve the towns appearance so Moate got a great bit of confidence boosting publicity on Friday with an appearance on RTE's Nationwide. (Last Friday)

Moate Golf Club, Cycleway, Tuar Ard, Dun na Si and Heritage Park all featured prominently and the town looked great. Fair play to Ray Lynam who escorted presenter Mary Kennedy on her visit. Check it out on the RTE Player.
