Hi there fokes been away from the golfing scene for 3yrs. I was off I finished off 13 my best being 11 (played poorly the following year and the handicap secretary applied for a 0.5 to the Guide for an upward review) the previous year I'm not going to be a full member I'll be looking at a 5 day membership . I was wondering if when I return will I get a provisional handicap or will I have none until I return the 3 cards.

As far as I know you will still need to submit your 3 cards to get a handicap

They will also take previous handicap into consideration when issuing new handicap
