Did you get through to the next stage? That wasn't such a bad score. Everyone I've talked to got under 30.

No idea what the cut off point was but it did say in the instructions it was impossible to answer them all.

Best of luck with the next round!

I did the interview and HATED it - nothing like I expected. Surprised to get a message saying I'm on the panel but don't know where yet.
I'm guessing the jobs are in family support and residential. Not keen on residential - too much violence - and none too sure about family support either as it can be pretty grim.
Ha, after all that, not sure I'd leave my current job at all ( I work in disability and it's great.) So probably explains my lack of excitement. How about you?

Hey I got in too , don't think they tell you where you are on the panel unfortunately, think you just have to go on your marks on interview sheet that was attached to email but impossible to tell as everyone could have similar marks

Thanks, that's good to know. I'm in the Waterford area so there may not be anything on offer here. Well done on getting through - hope you get something as it sure was a long haul!

Hey, sounds like you have way more experience than me. So what's a community position, is it interesting? I know they have funding to extend the Meitheal programme. Would that be a good number?
Some of the interview questions were really left field, so can't think what they were looking for there tbh. I thought they'd stick to the competencies. Ah well, glad it's over.

It would be family support and child welfare etc anything but residential to be honest lol.yea the competencies in the previous information was different to ones in the interview so that threw me.

My wife and her friend got them for Dublin North East I think it is. They're both happy enough with where they are on it. Any idea on the timelines for offering positions depending on how far down the panel you are?

No idea regarding time line but if your wife and her friend are willing to work in residential then would imagine they'll get offers within next few months depending how high in panel .if wanting a position in communuty sector the wait would be longer as those jobs don't become available as often.

Has anyone heard if there will be day jobs offered of if they are all residential? Im on the panel and the waiting and not knowing is killing me!
Does anyone work/know anyone who works for tusla in residential? I was considering doing a social care management MA if there was any chance of promotions with them as i need to get off sleepovers and theres no ladder to climb where I am.
Any information is greatly appreciated ðŸ‘ðŸ»
