This has been known for thousands of years. The Hindu Vedas and the Gnostic texts basically claimed this in their own language, but they knew.

Science is only catching up now. Especially as Reductionist science has reached its limit.

Maybe there is a matrix within a matrix, a sub matrix if you will. By letting us become aware of the sub matrix it fools us into not realising or gives a false sense of security to not discover that the sub matrix is within a parent matrix.
