Went to an open day today and think I wanna do Engineering, problem is I havent picked a science subject and that is a requirement.

So, is there a way around this requirement? And, if not, is it possible to pick up a subject now and still do well in it? Im in Sixth Year btw

Edit: I chose Economics, DCG and Accounting as I felt those were the best subjects to get the most points, and that I'd enjoy doing, but right now the course prospects are limited due to that.

Do you do applied maths? That would be accepted as a science for a good bulk of engineering courses.
And remember, you can always take an undergrad course in something and then go into engineering for a postgrad.

Yeah, all I'd need is to pass a laboratory subject to apply

Biology would probably be your best bet.

You just have to learn the facts and definitions - thus very easy to root learn and grind. Will be very to pass if you learn a few key chapters and look what didn't come up past two years.

I'd recommend sourcing notes from somewhere, don't use the book because it'll be very overwhelming.

Do you need to do a certain amount of lab work and write ups to do a lab subject?
