The two worst races of the day are on at Fairyhouse, the 4:15 and 4:50 are pretty awful, but it's often you can maybe spot something at a nice price that could do well. Authorative 33/1 and Shabra's Bertolini 12/1 are two I've been keeping an eye on, both have won before at this sort of level, with the latter pretty well proven and nicely down in the weights with a 5lb claimer on board.

The third worst race of the day is the last at Limerick. Not at all surprised to see Tudor City leading the betting. My horse in this one is a monster 33/1, not a bad price at all it beat this year's Galway Hurdle winner, Clondaw Warrior just two years ago on the flat. Grandma Dotty's form is pretty lousy, but recent form has seen it lose its way quite badly ever since Charlie Swan decided to call it a day last year. Could be utterly gone at the game, but at a huge price I think it's worth a chance.

    16:25 Chepstow
    Crimson Ark 18-1 ew
There is a chance he is going to get slapped about at this level, but I really liked his last run and will chance a small one.

    17.25 Fairyhouse
    The Last Marju 9-1 ew
Won well last time, Russell up (thought he got a whopper ban?), has a chance.

    Dolphin Vista 8-1 2.35

Won on first try over this trip last time out. Winning well

    Sea Fox 16-1 2.55

Ran 1/2 length of Anvil who is favourite here last time out over c@d . Still room to progress and will be a match again today. It's a decent price for a horse capable of holding its own
    Very competitive field though

    1 pt ew 16-1

I got word for Seven Heavens in the 3:30 from an unknown source. It's a decent enough price, so I am willing to have a small punt.

I've backed South Seas in the Newmarket 15:30 Dewhurst at 11s.
It immediately drifted to 12.5 :D

I am of a huge fan of American Racing, but Quiet Miracle has the name and the profile to do the business for a shrewd trainer at Parx in the next.
