Kidney infection & Macrodantin

Hi guys if I'm in the wrong place please feel free to move. So I have a pretty bad kidney infection. The pain is unbelievable. I was in the docs yesterday and I was prescribed Macrodantin. That was yesterday and I thought the pain would have subsided by now. (Its been a full 24hrs) My question is has anyone else ever had…

So I have a pretty bad kidney infection. The pain is unbelievable. I was in the docs yesterday and I was prescribed Macrodantin. That was yesterday and I thought the pain would have subsided by now. (Its been a full 24hrs)

My question is has anyone else ever had this antibiotic?? How long did it take for it to kick in for you??
