Yes, pretty sure that's how things work here. First to offer the asking price is to be accepted as its not an auction site.

As soon as SwissToni indicated he would accept €270 that became asking price. micase then offered asking and therefore is first in line. Any subsequent offer above 270 is irrelevant.

That's a nonsense decision 25sean wasn't given the opportunity to respond to the counter offer first which he should have been as the counter offer was intended for him only. OP did not reduce the original asking on his post.

If anything the item should be available to 25sean at the proposed €270
