Just looking for some advise on liming. Can anyone advise if lime effects horses in anyway?

    Thanks

For the fields? Yes it can be poisonous if digested in large amounts. Our yard spreads lime on the field and isolates horses so they can't get near it.

Liming your land will do your horses good. But you will have to keep them off the fields until it is well washed in. On the day of spreading it is best for them to be well away from the fields that are being done as the dust particles do travel in even the lightest wind.
