Licking/Wiping Rushes?

Hi. Just wondering is it worth licking rushes now? Weather is good and dry but about 8 to 10 degrees. Is it too cold or too late to lick. They were topped in the summer and are green now. What chemical is best to use and at what rate. I sprayed this year with high load Mircam and got great results.

Gallup at 50:1 is a good job.

I'd say do it, damn rushes never stop growing and so they can be killed.
