If a man was to break his baby finger on his right hand, Although the cast is only covering baby finger and ring finger(still can hold the wheel with thumb and 2 fingers comfortably), Would that man still be insured to drive?

Automatic car too if it makes difference.

    Hi B-D-P--,
Providing the man's doctor declares him fit to drive then the insurance would be valid.
    Thanks

Una, would the doctor have to prescribe him fit or unfit?

where do you draw the line as to when a doctor had to prescribe someone asfit ?

    Hi ted1,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Yes, the doctor would have to declare him fit or unfit to drive as the injury could affect his ability to steer.
If you are unsure on whether you are able to drive you should seek clarification from your Doctor.
    Thanks

The Liberty insurance official is telling you what is required from an insurance point of view - which is what you are asking.

Remember, when every insurance claim comes in it's the insurance company's right to find ways where it can mitigate its exposure - up to the point where the claimant is not covered. It's a business after all.

This is not limited to Liberty insurance.
