Making an ensuite

Considering adding an ensuite into a house that I'm considering purchusing. Measuring it out it would have to be 5ft*5ft - any bigger would probabaly take up too much room (going into a single room that's long, but narrow, feeling like wasted space right now, but this could benifit the master beside it.) That's allowing 5in for walls and 2ft 6in for doors including frames.

Is that big enough for an en-suite? I reckon it is - if I put in 900mm*900m for a shower tray put toilit in remaing 2ft gap and a cornor sink (door to swing out)?

I realise that's small, but is it too small to be usable?

    Size is irrelevant.
You have to choose function over form in these retrofits and make whatever space you have work.

Just be sure to put adequate ventilation into the room and use the correct grade of plasterboard etc.

Make sure drainage works before covering it up.
