Cost & quality of scratch repair

    Lads

I have scratch on the front door of my car. It's not that bad or noticible but it annoys me knowing that it's there. It's a brand new car aswell so I'd like to keep it in good condition.

Body shops have quoted between €300-€400 to respray the door which I understand is the going rate. I've stumbled upon some lads who do mobile scratch repair, "Dent n Scratch Repair". They've quoted €80 for it to be fixed. From browsing their Facebook page, the work looks to be of top quality & has great reviews.

What's the catch though? How are body repair shops so expensive & then you have mobile scratch repair companies who are doing good work for a reasonable price..is the quality of the finish not as good? Anyone have expierence with mobile scratch repair car companies who call out & fix it in your driveway? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

A mobile scratch repair will not do a panel respray, just touch up the scratch. Most of the times this is enough, but it will not be 100% perfect, more like 98% :)
