Anyone using pipe clamps? I have two sets, both 3/4, one irwin and one axminster.

The pipe i got seems to be causing me problems with both sets, clamps slip. the pipe I got is galvanised electrical conduit.

Was looking around for black iron pipe, but can't seem to find it anywhere? What are people using?
