Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

I have a small fish bowl with a castle decoration. Could I add one of these tealights to the inside of the castle safely?

If not, any other wirless options for lighting (using very small unit)

    Thanks!

If you have a fish "bowl", you're abusing whatever you have in it. They're illegal in many countries and nowhere near big enough for fish, presumably you've no filter in it either? Please do some research on the fish you have and try to re-home it to a suitable sized tank (e.g. if you have a goldfish, it needs to be in a pond or a tank that's 250 litres or so, some minnows might be fine in a 45l / 60l tank)

Anything not made specifically for the aquatics trade isn't a good idea to add to a tank. The lights you linked shoud be safe to use underwater but even a slight stray current could kill the occupants of anything in the bowl and unless the plastic is the exact right type it could be leaching contaminants into the water.

Thanks for the advice. Going old school with the fish bowl - had no idea it was unhealthy for the fish.

Goldfish in this case. Will look into what you suggest,
