    How would one find out the % of people who possess a Phd..(in ireland or worldwide)
    Any ideas?

    Its around 1% in Ireland according to CSO

    Yes I thought it sounded high too. It's 1% of people who have 'completed their education' rather than 1% of the population. So around 22000
