    Hi Guys and Gals,

I'm currently planning a trip to Valencia in Spain for myself and herself, jut the two of us, both in our mid 20's. Planning on going early next year, maybe April or May.

I was wondering if anyone has been, and can recommend or offer some advice on accommodation and specific areas to stay in. Also just general advice would be welcome.

Obviously there's info online, but unless you have very specific questions it can be hard to get good info.

    Thank You!

If your dates are flexible, definitely consider going to the Las Fallas festival in March. It was incredible (my wife and I went a few years ago) though the only downside being a tremendous amount of fireworks (especially fire crackers) being set off in the streets. We had a wonderful time visiting that city with good food, parks, sites, plus the festival encourages you to visit different neighborhoods to see their sculptures which they set on fire on the final day. Enjoy the travel planning...

Problem with Valencia is the Ryanair schedule. Arriving very late in the evening.

Definitely las fallas in mid to late march is the festival to check out.
Maybe there are other festivals too around easter, or maybe out in the countryside for the cristianos y moros stuff.
Also look at the Valencia football club fixtures, might be a decent fixture to check out. Or whatever game is on in the stadium, its a nice spectacle if you have half an interest in football.
