There was a Photography Expo in town on Saturday. A guy from Olympus was doing a talk about their new cameras. He said there would be questions and prizes. Not too many in the audience and one of the questions was "Which company first introduced Live View?" I was not sure but took a guess at Olympus. I was right.

I was given a box as a prize. Not bad.

Ah, serious nostalgia moment. The OM-1 was my first ever "proper" SLR... (I was 14 at the time, I hasten to add! :o)

    Nice one, OP.

[Edit: I still occasionally use the old Zuiko f1.8 50mm with a 4/3 adapter on my E-510; gives a lovely compact 100mm equivalent for shooting gigs and the like.]

I have an OM-2, but for some reason this makes me want an OM-1!
The eye relief on the OM's is awful for glasses wearers though, I hardly use my OM-2 because of it.

the OM4Ti had dioptre adjustment, but they suffered terribly from duff electronics.
