Is their any sense in going with anyone these days? The brothers girlfriend of 4 years (their was talk of kids) is after doing the dirty on him, details are pretty nasty aswell. Two of her friends have been caught at the same in the last couple of weeks. Can women not keep their legs closed these days?

I was looking at personal issues/relationship issues forums and it's all a train wreck over there. Really doesn't seem to be worth the hassle nowadays.

I don't think it's just a "these days" problem nor do I think it's just women. There are lots of people in relationships where they aren't happy for the wrong reasons - they don't want to be alone or they think the person is right for them on paper. It tends not to go well.

I think if you find someone who you connect with, fancy like crazy and fall hard for then relationships are pretty easy. Sometimes as time passes things aren't so easy but if you really really love someone that's when you put some extra work in.

There will always be cheaters out there sadly and it's a crappy situation for your brother, but I would say he had a lucky escape before settling down and having kids with her.

your brother will probably need a lot of support at the minute, it could take him a long time to get over this and he will be feeling emotionally devastated.

It sounds like they had almost committed with the talk of having kids, plus 4 years is a long time to be with someone to be stabbed in the back like this.

I hope he has a lot of friends to help him through this.
