When do SW issue JSA

    What day does JSA get issued. I know it can be collected Monday but what day do SW issue it

    Thursday is the official day I think, but it can be collected from the day before Wednesday and remains in the Post Office for a couple of days after that.

    My official day for collection is Tuesday but can be collected Monday. I'm wondering when do they actually issue the payments as late signing is Wednesday and if you miss that and sign Thursday you are a week without payment. Wondering if they process the payments Thurs or Fri in order for it to clear on Monday. If that makes sense?

    The payments run on Thursday night for Tuesday payment. The post offices pay it out on Mondays to manage to volumes collecting over an extra day. Payments run 3 working days before the actual due date. The day early for collections only applies to JSA not JB. JB is a Wednesday payday, it runs Friday night but is only available from Wednesdy.

    Mon/ Tues - JSA
    Wed- JSB
    Thurs - OFP ( and most EFT payments)
    Fri- Pensions

    Ok and this weeks payment is going to my bank account with arrears So if they run then on Thursdays would my payment be in the bank Monday or Tuesday?

    Bank payments take 2 days to get there. EFT's are normally Thursdays, so run Tuesday night. If it is a one off EFT due to arrears it should be in the bank 2 days after it was awarded so payment day will depend on awarded day.
