Hi there - Looking for some help. My wife recently got an X3, E83 and is looking to get an auxiliary input wired so she can plug in iPhone, just for music not for full phone integration and making calls etc. Would anyone be able to give me a sense of how difficult/easy it is and what I would be likely to pay?

What year is it? I had a 2010 320D and it was standard in the car back then. Are you sure one isn't already there that you're not aware of? Mine was in the armrest compartment in the middle.

It's 2004. I'll double check but i'm nearly sure it's not where you've suggested. AFAIK they introduced it as standard on X3 in 07 or 08.
