I recently got a very nice Omega Seamaster from my father and while I love it, I find that I prefer battery powered watches.

So now I'd like to treat myself and herself to a Christmas present - two watches of same design but different size (men/woman).

I'd be very grateful if knowledgeable boardsies advised me as I'm a total noob, yet learning quickly.

    Requirements:

Simple design, even date is not required, no numbers etc on metal, basically something similar to my Omega
Colour wise- silver with silver bracelet or cream face/gold bracelet (however I think that silver finish will be more durable??)
Thick glass - think that makes the whole difference
I like the fact that my watch is heavy
Battery powered (both for practical as well as price reasons)
    Metal bracelet

I prefer quality first and what I get for my money, then brand so I'd be leaning towards Japanese watches or similar

I know that's a lot to as for, especially if budget is 500 euro for both
