Dimplex Quantim Electric Heaters

    Hi all,

I'm thinking about replacing the storage heating in my home. AFAIK they're the originals, so probably about 17 years old at this point, and they're big, bulky, ugly and hard to control - as in they output controls don't seem to make much difference.

I've been doing some googling and I've come across Dimplex Quantum which appear to be storage heaters but with smart functionality so are apparently easier to control. I've made some very basic inquiries and they appear to be anything from 2-3x more expensive than a standard storage heater.

I have 4 storage heaters now, but I think that with newer technologies I could possibly reduce that to 3. Also, mine are big ugly beige lumps, and that the quantum heaters are smaller, neater and bright white.

Has anyone any experience of these? Are they worth the money?
