I'm hoping someone can help out with this issue. I have an f2000 modem issued from eir which had been working perfectly until yesterday. Now each time I try to access the Internet at home I get redirected to the 192.168..... page. It says there is a cable error but I have taken out all cables and put them back in, I've blown air to make sure there is nothing stuck in any ports but the problem remains. Is there anything else I can try? I have attached a screens hot of the page I get directed to below.

You've lost your link. Somebody working in the area has screwed up or theres been line damage. Call them and they'll put you in the queue for a tech visit.

Makes sense. There has been a lot of work in the past few weeks kn group for virgin media.

I've just spoke to the eir online chat and they say there is a fault on the line outside my premises. They have booked a technician for the fault so hopefully it is sorted soon enough. Hopefully it something small.
