I don't expect this thread to have the legs of a greyhound but in the interest of
satisfying my own curiosity, is it just me or did this wagon deserve her conduit
of self promotion and appreciation, to be snatched from her hand in public??

if you ask me, it couldn't have happened quickly enough. Get a real job ya clown, these so called bloggers do me head in on any other day of the week but
    this takes the cake.

she feels "incredibly blessed to be part of the periscope community" in the wake of such a horrendous atrocity. Oh " how frightening for my live viewers" this must have been!! how many phones had been snatched last year in Dublin alone eh, and she thinks London is immune to such scallywaggery!! will she need counciling now I wonder and if so will she broadcast said psychotherapy session live while supine on a leather couch!!!

She's as shallow as a teaspoon this wan and deserves 1 year hard labour or in her language, 40 hours a week in your garden variety commute to and fro job for the masses!! god bless her little millennial brain!

Nobody deserves to be mugged but did you ever hear the likes of it?
"So I was like walking along on my commute home like, with all my fans and family watching. They must have been so worried when it all went black".

Ya ok. Sorry for ya and all, but where is she commuting from that her commute is so interesting that she has to document it live? Get over yourself love and put your phone away until you get home.

You're clearly just envious of her. You hate your life and you'd give anything to be doing something you enjoy and making some money out of it, like this woman.

But alas, you're not, so you hate anyone who is successful at anything else.

Read it myself, not much sympathy. She'll get a bit more publicity out of it so Win/Win.

She films herself on her daily commute, picking up a cup of coffee. What a wonderful, inspiring life she leads.

I'm envious of her, lock me up, that's my crime!;), the presumption that I hate what I do is laughable at best, considering you don't know what I do!! I may just be commander and chief of the I hate camp Seamus new blog!

    Why the hatred?

That article is weird. It keeps repeating itself. Did the journalist just find a woman sitting on the side of the road rocking back and forth mumbling the same thing over and over to herself and just write down what she said verbatim.

So she walks around London, broadcasting the fact she has her phone out, is distracted and gives her exact location and movement?

They'd be stupid not to mug her.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

They should make a vlog on how to rob vloggers. It could be the cancer vlogging needs to end it's existence.

What's a real job? Surely any activity you make money from is a real job? If people can make money from blogging and you-tubing or whatever then more power to them. Better than sitting in a bloody office all day in a shirt and tie, waiting to retire.

As someone who never encounters vlogging, I find that vlogging has no bearing on my life at all.

Seriously. It's like people complaining that their facebook feed is filled with cutesy/hatesy/sad stuff all the time. Just block the stuff you don't want and you don't have to care about it anymore.

Just knowing they exist is enough to ruin my day.

It's the self entitledness that gets me. I work in an industry that means we deal with them a lot. In my old job, you would get about 2 mails a day from well known bloggers to wannabe bloggers asking for free things in exchange for exposure on their social media. They'd be asking for a 350 euro treatment for a mention on their snapchat and a few selfies.
"I have xxx followers, and they're growing daily. My followers are very interested in XXXX and I would love to have the opportunity to send them to you. Would you be interested in a collaboration?" Am, no.

If one walks down the street holding a €500 - €1000 piece of kit in their hands and focusing attention on that rather than their surroundings they are asking for trouble.
It's such an easy thing for a crook to add to their swag bag and probably even quicker for them to sell on.

ya see it's more important to have your Mister demille moment nowadays than consider your safety and welfare obviously and sure what the hell, if it goes pear shape then just cry to your hoards of followers or dreggs as I call them, they've all the time and support you need to feed your vapid narcissism.

yeah everyones entertained by the paris Hiltons of this world.. I guess there's no accounting for some peoples taste in entertainment then. also many of these so called bloggers are qualified in sweet FA! and have been caught out being bullies on line, amongst other things. I said it before, social media can be great but for the likes of this ****wittery, it's a Ouija board for layabouts and self proclaimed experts in every field around, at worst they're paris hilton wannabess and at best they they're unqualified mounts who muddy the waters!

Well in todays world marketing via bloggers in an effective way to reach your target audience if their audience is your audience. If someone has 5 digit followers (most likely to be teenage girls) and thats your audience then you would be an idiot not to use them.

The beauty about vloggers is that you simply dont see them anywhere unless you actively look for their content. So how can they be possibly annoy you unless you watch their content to be purposely annoyed.

Assuming they have built a solid number of viewers and maintained them then id say they are at least qualified in people skills.

eh no, I call bull**** on that one! so I never heard of perez Hilton. When he turned up on the news having a meltdown, then I knew about him. same as paris Hilton, same as all the other wanna be same as self fill in the blank eejits who proliferate social media as a means to go mainstream. as soon as I see Blogger, I get some idea of what they're about, it's called general awareness. you don't have to make a conscious decision to look for them.
every other clown on TV has BLOGGER as a suffix now, as if they're some type of expert in bleedin shoe selection!

park the blog thing aside, it's the sheer stupidity of some yoke gamming on about lipshtick with her phone at arms length possibly accros from somebody trying to have a quiet coffee, that irks most normal people!
