    Hi everyone
Iv looked in previous threads but cant find an answer for me. I moved into a house a while ago with a Russound system all wired.
I have all the wall key pads in and all the speakers in and wired they were already there when i moved in. (I know a great start) there is a ball of wires in the utility room which i kinda know this is where the controls go i.e amps.
Im really trying to find out what do i need to finish this system off and get it up and running.
Im not looking for anything major i just want the radio to run through it. Maybe a cd/mp3 player.

Now you might think ah this lad kinda knows what hes talking about when he mentioned amps. I havent a clue of anything to do with this. Its just countless hours of going through the net and im still no wiser.
Oh its a 6 zone there are 6 wall pads.
Anyhow im wondering what units i need and where is the best place to get them.
As iv mentioned i am clueless to what im looking for but Googling all i can see if stuff that costs a small fortune 2k 3k 4k and so on what the hell makes this stuff so expensive is it not a glorified radio.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me please please remember the key word in this post clueless 😢😢😢

What Keypads do you have as different keypads are only compatible with appropriate controllers.

    Hi Dave

sorry for the late response, the Russound MCA-C5 is an 8 source, 8 Zone multiroom system (zones 7 & 8 as pre-out), SNIPPED

Has a built in FM tuner and yes the MCA-C5 is the amplifier.

If you have UNO-S1 keypads its a Russound CAV6.6 or Russound CAM6.6 that was there previously and they are long discontinued.

    MHI,

I've PM'ed you twice in the recent past, as well as warnings in the past, about using these forums to point people at your commercial business. If you can't help people with technical advice without trying to sell them something, don't post here again. This is a final warning - a permanent ban from these forums is the next step.

    Ritz.
