Spraying cat issues

Hi guys. We have a neutered female cat, roughly 11 years old. She has kidney issues that she's on medication and special food for. She's indoor only. At the weekend, a neighbours cat ran into the sitting room through the open door and hissed at our cat then ran back out. Our cat hissed then calmed down.

Since then, she's been going to the bathroom in her litter tray an awful lot more and doing what I recognised as the spraying motion cats do - shaking her tail against something, a few drops of liquid come out (they don't smell like urine).

We brought her to the vet on Tuesday who did bloods and urine samples and he said she has a small touch of cystitis and gave us some Cystaid capsules.

Since then, she keeps doing the spraying thing and its driving us demented. In all other respects, she's fine - eating, drinking, going to the bathroom (still very often, but I hope this will clear up with the Cystaid), sleeping and playing. Its just the spraying!

Does anyone have any tips to help with this? We're getting that special enzyme cleaner and Feliaid today to see if that helps. Thanks!

Is she actually spraying when she does the quivering tail thing? I only ask, as one of our female cats has always done this, but never, never actually sprays?

I watched one of the other girl cats peeing in the litter tray the day before yesterday, and whilst peeing, she gradually stood up and ended up peeing against the wall. I got a covered litter tray later that day...

I think all of our girl cats do the standing up spraying outside. The one that does it indoor, but doesn't actually spray, is our only indoor only cat.
