I am thinking of buying a house in Dublin 8. Its an end terrace with some land attached. How do I best find out a solid opinion on planning permission for an extension before buying? Also what kind of any access I would have to allow the rest of the terrace? Any ideas?

Local architect, engineer, surveyor or technician.
    Someone that has experience etc

Most dwellings can be extended without issue.
Post a link to the for sale ad or PM if you want and you can check if there's a history in the area of particular refusals.
