You've probably heard of his article in National Club Golfer... I think this Aussie article covered it best:

    http://www.news.com.au/sport/sports-life/peter-willetts-savage-sledge-against-american-ryder-cup-fans-is-a-thing-of-beauty/news-story/cbdf9639039a3315df1988091f943dd7
They need to silence the pudgy, basement-dwelling, irritants, stuffed on cookie dough and p**** beer, pausing between mouthfuls of hotdog so they can scream Baba booey until their jelly faces turn red.
They need to stun the angry, unwashed, Make America Great Again swarm, desperately gripping their concealed-carry compensators and belting out a mini- erection inducing mashed potato, hoping to impress their cousin."

I was surprised to hear DC taking it as far as he did - saying Danny was disappointed. Maybe brushing it off was a better play.
I just was made aware of the article about an hour ago. I hadn t seen it. As soon as I did, I went out to find Danny, who was playing in the last group out there this morning. I showed it to Danny and he s bitterly disappointed in his brother s article. It is not what Danny thinks. It is not what I think. It is not what Team Europe stands for."

So was Peter spot on or did he go overboard? Are the Americans taking it too seriously?

What impact, if any, will it have on Team Europe? Angry fans baying for European blood...

We already have a very large Ryder Cup thread, I think it's been covered already :)
