Ads within ads on RTE

I hear ads on RTE radio which are interrupted by a TV licence ad.The sound just slows and stops like a tape breaking down.Then the TV licence ad comes on and then back to the original. Are the original ads for real products or are they a part of the licence ad. One original was for golf clubs i think. I was driving and…

It's all part of the same ad.
