    From what I remember hearing they were a heap of dung and nearly broke the company

    He bought seven or eight farms of land, and borrowed even more to stock them. Seemed to have a bit of a "lord of the Manor" fixation. Anyway, got to the stage there was no money to meet workers wages.
    He is selling general machinery in a small way from the home yard now . A new company was formed from the ashes called New Rock.

    They named a television programme after that company.

    It's rumoured that TV3 are working on a new series called 'Mchales.' It apparently follows the trails and tribulations of the small west of Ireland farmer as they struggle to save small round pits of silage in the field and then transport them to the yard one by one without losing their sanity.
