Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How Do Garda Shifts Work?

    Is it six shifts of ten hours then four days off? So you work 60 hours in 6 days?

    Just making sure I have it straight in my head.

    Do all sections work this shift arrangement? How does it break down?

    Our patrol division works:
    0700-1700 (day shift)
    1600-0200 (evenings)
    2200-0800 (nights)

    We do four 10 hour days with three days off. Other sections (traffic, DWI, etc.) have their own shifts but we're all on the 40 hour week. Other agencies do it differently, we stay on a shift unless you request a change, then it's shift bid by position/seniority. Some agencies do rotating shifts which sucks as your life always changes, makes it hard on childcare, family, etc.

    I know of the crappy St Raphels app and the equally poor GRA App
    Neither of which are great designs. Given the abundance of calendar apps such as DigiCal it might make more sense to merge the roster with my standard calendar.

    Is there a .ics file where I can merge my roster with Google Calendar?

    What's wrong with the above apps? Seem fairly easy to operate. Select unit and shifts are displayed.
