    The setup guide video for the D-Link DCS-932L IP Camera looks very straight forward but I have a question some of you might be able to answer.

    Is there no need for a static/public IP or port forwarding for devices like this to work consistently?

    This camera supports uPNP port forwarding and DDNS, so if you can utilise these there is no need for static IP's and manual port forwarding.
