charge do one - think evans have them in stock. Also try surly cross check, all city nature boy, specialised langster, on-one pompino is also a nice bike. Not much more that I know off. Felt breed is nice, but very hard to come by.

Fixed cx would be interesting to say the least. i would wear shinguards....

    Hi LennyMc

Thanks for advice. Hoping to pick up a frame or part bike for a bit cheaper than one you listed. I have lost of parts and only need a frame and SS crank.
However if I got a full bike for low price than happy days.

Reason I want xc clearance is not to race but to commute in via canals.
Largely looking for a well priced commuter that can take slightly thicker tyres.

Surely someone must have a frame somewhere?

Don't have frame but have cranks if you want

This is looking for a home.
I could probably root out a set of brake levers and flat bar if needed.

    Cheers folks.
Harryb - if I get a frame and you still have crank then yes. How many teeth?

Kuotabia: thanks but no thank you. Not an MTB fan. Prefer simple classic geometry road bike.

There was a cheap holdsworth frame posted in a thread a few weeks back. If I was confident that it could take thicker tyres then I would go for it.
There are a few sections of canal that my roadside handles fine despite gravel, but would like to go further. Also just really want something that is really simple in bad weather to save wear and tear on my other bikes.

What's your budget? I've got a surly crosscheck. Size 55 I believe, would like to sell whole bike though.

Only have cranks. Think they're 130BCD, so you can get whatever chainring you want (well, almost)

Hi the 55cm is too big.
I'm a 52cm frame person. Have larger but 54 is absolute max.
    Thanks

I've a NS Analog trick fixie that is surplus at the moment. It'll take tires up to 36, maybe bigger. At the moment I've 32 gatorskins on on. Rock solid bike.
